I'm up here travelling with Hema, updating the Cape York maps. Apparently we're the first up the OTT this year.

Epic mud and high water in the crossings. Here is the Palm Creek exit. 4 hours of winching to get two vehicles across this creek!

Cockatoo Creek had an epic entry from the south as well, lots of mud. More updates from further north - had to go back to Weipa to replace a clutch.

Looks like great fun.

No doubt the rain from ex TC Zane has helped keep things damp compared to what's normal for May. Enjoy!

Wow that would be an epic trip.

Gunshot...easy if you take the left line. The far right one (from MySwag CY trip memory) is a write-off until someone digs it out or drops a few fourbies down it.

I am assuming the clutch you had to replace was in the Hema Nissan? We have 3 of these with Obieco service bodies on them (similar to the Hema set up) all have had the clutch replaced before completing 30,000km. Mr Nissan said no warranty because wait for it.............we use them off road....

We also have one TD V8 cruiser in the fleet, these have always Done their 100,000km without issue.

Great pics.
