Well my wife and I have decided early in the new year were gonna do the big lap over a few years, we wentlto the caravan and camping show for a new car fridge and recovery bag and walked out with a new jayco 19" outback van.

So it looks like no more my swag as were no longer ct users. The site has been awesome with lots of useful info
Thabks to everyone on this site

Bill

No need to leave myswag just because you purchased a caravan.
There are a few caravan owners on here.
Now

As Bill said, no need to leave the site. And we are much friendlier than the caravan forums :)

Do I also need to point out that the site owner himself turned up to a myswag meet in a caravan?

Don't ya just hate C&C shows  ;D

We did the same, well sort of, we went looking for a tent and came home with a Grand Tourer camper trailer. We are also looking at doing the big one in the very near future.

Hang in there; camper trailer people are friendlier. You'll still want to share your trips with us, research your next destination, upgrades etc.

The best investigation we had was talking to all the other people at the show and then from that point we were sold,
Definetly doing what we want cant wait really only have 2 1/2 months till the van arrives in perth.

Once we leave were gonna be blogging our trip woth plenty of pictures for people to see and follow our travels.

cruisindub

awesome spur of the moment decision.

Well done.

Looking forward to your future posts with trip reports.
Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....

Sounds like one of them fandangled new hard floored, hard sided, solid roofed camper trailer things, not a caravan!!!!
