Hey Taz,

I'm not sure if you're supposed to put dog bombs in the compost. Something to do with the bacteria is still nasty or something. Might want to check it out just in case.

My man cave has restricted access ??? until I get an excavator in to clear and level the access. But I finally :-[ got in and swapped over the old Night Vision driving lights for an almost as old set of Hella 140,s made up from old lights in the shed.

The system I have is made by Tumbleweed and specifically for dog droppings.  I'll let you know how it works out once the start up process has finished and it's rafy for dog droppings.

Put the brake controller in the tug today, thanks to a bit of help from Muz and Jet!!  :cup:

Didn't take as long as I thought, the hardest part was getting the wire from the engine bay to the back through the chassis!!

I have a 2005 Hilux and I mounted it near the door next to my right knee. If I mounted it in the other side, the misso would have hit her knee on it. She is a bit vertically challenged!

Grabbed a beer then was trying to decide where to mount the uhf grabbed another beer as the first beer did not help me with the decision making got a little cold so i loaded wood in the fire pot got that blazing grabbed another beer ate that beer in a matter of micro seconds had another look in the car for a mounting spot for the uhf had another beer stood around the fire until the fridge was at a stage it needed restocking decided that the passenger seat that the radio was sitting on was a good spot for the time being locked up the car.

Funny thing was i had a brain wave and put down an old paint can lid 20lt, so i thought if i spilt a drop the lid would catch it, well that over flowed onto my bench, but i managed to mop that p before it got to the floor..

Fixed the paint gun by drilling out the breather hole..

I learnt a fewyearsago that it costs a lot of money to throw drop or slam down a spray paint gun.  So have learnt to control myself till i put it down..

Breather hole was blocked cos i shook the gun putting paint into the breather.. I will have to remember not to do that in the future..

Now thinking, it was probably the reason why the spray guns can fell over, too slippery sitting Ono the old lid...

Made a Shovel Holder for the roof rack.
A length of 50mm PVC pipe.
2x 50mm pipe brackets.
4x Gal Screws.
1x 50mm Gal 8mm bolt with 4 washers and an R Clip.
Some Cold gal paint.
Piece of pillow foam pushed into the end to stop the handle from rattling about.
Doesn't make a noise and the handle is protected from the weather and sun ;D
You don't use magic to disappear, all you need is a 4wd & a Swag ;)

You could strip that shovel down and paint it too, maybe that can be next weekends project..

And while u are at it, rub the handle down with some linseed oil.. The shovel will be like new..

I spent the day wiring up the controller in my '92 Hilux.

I was bloody cold in the shed.  Radio kept saying around 12°.  Is hard to get the fingers going at that temp.

I crimped the connectors and then soldered them - something I like to do - crimp and solder.  It ensure the connector has a good solif waterproof connection.

My controller is removable now (see my other thread re where to install controller in Hilux).

Tomorrow I get to tidy up the electrics in the CT.  Its got a short in a wire and the fridge has no fuse protecting its 12V supply.  Hopefully it wont be as cold tomorrow
