It's taken me 8yrs of clearing out my garage to find my wood machines now I've got an ex neighbours 9yr kid telling my daughter at school that he's coming over to help me build some wardrobes. Now I'm under the pump from the missus, daughter and their ring in.  :D

I was also silly enough to volunteer to make sets for the school musical. That is not so bad as i don't have to paint them.
These photos are from the youth theatre group my daughter is involved with and the sets that take all my time.

What did you paint the gravestone with?
A base coat with a brush then a watered down black in the carved bits then rubbed off then some got a grey dry brush then sponged black finished off with a bit of green (wheels bin green) detail to look like a moss.
The planks are for a pirate ship that is made but needs to be covered to look good.
They are doing pirates of Penzance.
I have also made rocks out of expanding foam 2 pack.
My list is getting smaller but no doubt the director will say can you make this or that.
I already have a flag pole that will drop the flag at the push of a button. It is amazing what you can find in cars to help make things go. Like electric window regulators, wiper motors and central locking parts.

Moved a heap of stuff from my shed to my new storage area (doors and flashing still to do this week)

so now I can reach my work bench...

Bloody bonza...

Robbo...

Doors are on but as you can see with the doors open, if I screwed the mini corro where the cross beam is, it would look different to the wall sheeting. No drama though, I'll ask the guys at work to fab up 4 more cross beams that I can screw on from the back. That and flashing to do. Pretty happy with the outcome...

A copule of photos from the efforts of the last few days.
These are rocks made from 2 pack expanding foam and edging made from foam in a can.  Both are covered in sand to soften some hard edges.

Spent the day moving the contents of the man shed (single garage) to the new abode. I hate moving, though got rid of a lot of Shite and still more to be rid of. Positive note took an old 5 burner BBQ to the dump and the dump guys said, hey there is our new lunch cooker. Was truly recycled. Win win.

Installed my shiny new HPD catch can in the collie. The amount of oil that came out of the hose makes me wish I did this two years ago

As stated HPD. Not cheap but quality piece of gear. Fitted no fuss at all. With the amount of oil in the hose it will be interesting to see how much it captures

I rebuilt the top end on a Peewee 50 that had been drowned. Put on a brand new carb as well. Started 2nd kick. Then proceeded to strip the bike down to a bare frame ready for a repaint and new plastics. Hope I remember how it all goes back together. Cheers, Mike.

Generally it went well , on its 1st trip/test run it got jagged on a pot hole . On the back road from Cape Leveque to Derby . A wild sandy narrow little bypass the sticks & sand drift covering it , managed to rip it a big hole . A quick trip to the hardware shop in Derby for a big tube of silicon to attach a patch . Washed it , dried it , plastered the tube  contents over it  , Good as new .   Another 1 bites the dust

I was given a 90AMP/Hr Thumper a few weeks ago but despite best efforts the batteries were toast. So I swapped them out for some I had around the place. Its now 42AMP/Hr (enough for lights etc) i have a 100amp/hr battery already.

Pretty happy with it all.

Looks great, only bit is the right angle exit, for the Flue.
I would have put it in at 45 Deg., with a Damper in there, but that's just me.
The Flue won't draw as well as it could, at start-up.  Means it might take longer to get to operating Temp.
But it might only be a small difference anyway.
Coat 'a paint an it'll look a million bucks.
