Received an email today from Paypal? The email stated there was trouble with our account and we were to click to confirm. This brings you to a login screen where, if you logged in they                    (the ar%#holes) would receive your details etc etc.  DONT DO IT!!! Paypal have been notified.

It's amazing how many people fall for these scammers. The same as the microsft telephone calls stating your computer has a virus, they then get remote access and get all bank details. I love getting these calls when I have free time. I waste there time for at least half hour and either say give me your number as my laptop is at work or ask where do i find the remote access on a apple mac  >:D
Maybe send them a email with your badge number  ;D

NEVER NEVER NEVER Click a link in an email, from PayPal, any bank, or anything to do with usernames and passwords.
Legitimate emails will tell to go to their website and go from there, they will not provide any links.

Even if the website appears to be OK, its not..

I used to do that but it takes up to much time.

I now have a refs whistle which must either deafen them or scare the crap out of them when i blow it into the phone.

Vindictive Nomad.

Another new scam. Happened to my dad last night,

Messagecomes up accross screen, 'AUSTRALIAN. FEDERAL POLICE ', something aboutlooking ay dodgy sites and download or illegal material, ...... pay a fine

Its a relatively new scam, just come about, scares crapout of people apparently, so they 'pay the fine's......

Cops know about it, local cops advised dad just to turn off Computer and internet and restart, everything .....

They rely on the fear factor from most people......
Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....
