Lift easy Actuators

I had a quick search but couldnt see them mentioned.. Anyone seen these or used them?

Great idea Lost.  But a broom and a quick tug on the other side unfolds mine quicker.  And I don't have to worry about electrics and actuators not working in the middle of nowhere however I'm guessing there would be some sort of manual override if the actuators did fail.  Could be handy for those with bad backs etc who can't do it manually.

Actuators have been around for long time, often expensive and do have limit switches etc inside (which fail). Actually quite difficult to engineer this type of lift getting mount points right. Also pretty hard to overide if things go wrong electrically.
Im sure they will sell well watching this video, its been designed well in this case by the looks

Yea agree.
I have no issues with ours either, but was thinkin there's regularly elderly or broken people asking for ideas.
I'd actually not seen this idea in action on a camper...

Be interested to see the cost.

The Cavalier is quite easy to setup and pack away too

The owner down at TBlu showed me these in action this morning. There are 4 actuators per setup.
- 2 that do the main tent
- 2 that extend out the living area!

The whole thing goes up really quick too. Beautiful and whisper quiet.  They would be the answer to many peoples prayers, those that have disabilities, or old and frail, or even just ladies who wanna get out on their own! Should be more single hot chicks in bikini's out camping with camper trailers.

Each actuator has a motor inside it so they are not bulky at all. In fact from outside you cant see them. Did I say it was quiet.. I was surprised just how quiet..

Not sure what happens if one dies, if you can over ride it(the tent extender)
Not sure what happens if your tent gets hooked up/snagged while its lifting, I'd guess it would rip the arsehole out of it if you weren't watching

Would I have them - if my trailer came with them Yes, 
Would I retro fit them no. Do I need them No. Luckily with my trailer its really easy to put up, even 1 person with the 12ft tent is simple.

The cover??? your not going to get something that automates everything...

It folds up 99% of the canvas when packing up. Its basically the last piece of floor you have to throw over. All the hardwork is done for you.. just stuff the sides in and go.

if you want a fully automated setup/packup

Looks a great idea, but at that cost can't see the value myself. Lets say some buys a CT for $10000 it will cost them another 35% of there original outlay just to be automated. I'll stick with manual setup.

I also looked at the linear Actuators
They are great when there working but when they stop ?
So I use 2 pnumatic rams and my air compressor and I have an over ride in case it $%#@ its self

Although the actuators may be cheaper............
