Hi All,
For all of you who have showers and pop up tents, I notice that Aldi have a special that starts on Wed 30th 2013 with a slatted bamboo shower mat.  50 x 80cm. $19.99

A rubber mat from Bunnings for about $6. It doubles as the mat at the door of the camper.

You can see it just under the esky.

Use the waffle boards off the top of your car, they'll keep you off the grond nicely. Plus they get a good clean as well. ;D

I had to Google them as I didn't know what they're called, but we use EVA mats also! :D

I use Eva mats as well, they're a little bulky but weigh next to nothing.

Very cool.  Thanks for the education.  I learn something new everyday, and more often than not it is usually something that I have already previously learnt and not remembered, but not in this case...I think!
Oooh! Goldfish!

We planned on using the mats shown below, but seeing as I'd taken them out of the tool box and forgotten to repack them :( we used out Shadecloth "doormat" we picked up from the Carvan and  Camping show for $15! 1.2m and 900mm Worked ok. feet Clean and water ran away ok, but think these solid plastic mats would be better as they elevate you a bit from the ground......

We use something similar to this:

I think it was about $10 at the big green shed.  It doubles as bump protection on the inside of our offside box.

I've actually been thinking about this for awhile, I have noticed most Shower tents don't have floors and if they do they are very light weight.
Just wondering what would be the best way to Catch the water so to speak that would pack easily? Sort of like a big rectangular bucket with a waffle board floor to stand on?
I've been to a few Camp sites where if you had water run off you couldn't use your own shower, you had to use the "block".
That way I could choose where the water runs off?

We use a small cutout of Fake grass.  It dosent let any sand or mud or anything up through it & drains perfectly.  Also no mold if packed up wet.

We use an EVA mat on top of a bit of shade cloth for added protection from sand and mud.

This great stuff, i use it for carpet, dash matt and a floor matt in the rear of the Falcon work van.
