Google Chrome is playing funny buggers.
Things like when I open the "new" post button it takes me to the top of the last page and not the first unread post
When clicking the back arrow there seems to be multiple times the page has been opened (if I right click the back arrow I can see multiple of pages loaded.)
It never did this in the past but now all the time.
Any one got any answers?
I even uninstalled and reinstalled.
Fire fox also went haywire so don't use it any more.

I'm having the same thing with Chrome. It seems to be since the site upgrade, it lost all the last posts that I read, so it just takes me to the top of the last page.

No idea if that's the case, but I seem to remember it starting to happen when the site changed

We are forced to use it at work due to the compmany moving to Google hosted mail (dumb move #29302394802398402938402938402398)

Its the worst browser in history.. Netscape 1.0 would be an improvement. I'm using IE 9 without any issue on anysite, but miss many functions in Gmail.

I think theres been some update go out cause its extra pathetic today, I've had a dozen complaints from staff on different issues...

No Issue at all with Google Chrome  --  just posted this message with Google Chrome  :cup: running on Linux.

I would check your virus scanner, sounds like something modifying the page content before your browser is able to display the page  -- That's why you having issues with Chrome and Firefox  -- and at a guess soon to have issues with MS explorer.

We have windows xp/professional sp3 and ever since we downloaded Google Chrome can only get Google Earth with a black background and yellow outlines. We`ve tried all the troubleshooting suggestions and even though I don`t know a great deal about these things, I don`t think it`s the graphic card as Google Maps is brilliant ???

I even followed one suggestion and downloaded an earlier version of Google earth but no go.
Anyone out there in computer land with any ideas??

Cheers, Robyn.

Thanks Lost :cup: I`ll try that even though I`m a bit hesitant about anything to do with the Registry I`ve fixed a few hard problems lately which has given me more confidence in dealing with the computer.

Cheers, Robyn.

I figure if I'm starting out with MS Windows and Office then I might as well have IE9 and MS Security Essentials because if anything goes wrong half the world will be on their hammer to sort it pronto and prolly before I even know about it. In that regard I'm about to upgrade the second desktop from XP to Win7 because XP only runs IE8 with attendant vulnerabilities and also it's creaking at the joints to keep up with net development. I'll let the geeks sort out Windows8 before I jump on board.

My rules: Never be a pioneer with computing, but don't get left behind either and never doubt MS in the long run.

Chrome is all I use. Dunno why anyone would knock it..it's just a browser, it works, it's simple and it does what it's supposed to do without fuss.
Never had an issue with Myswag using Chrome.
I only use IE for sites using IE unique features such as Outlook web mail.

All. Don't forget to check your security settings like ensure SSL is enabled as many sites, including Chrome, Microsoft 365 etc expect it to be on. Firefox disables it as default as well, it's not perfect.

You know we could almost do a sort of help desk on here. Why don't you down load Team Viewer so we can then login and check it out. You can watch while it is done so no harm can come if yo don;t trust us. I'm happy to help when time permits, not sure about Lost, D4D and others but just a thought

Saw this on a FB post.. <chuckle>

Love the post! Also love Chrome, at least it doesn't have any limit that I've found yet on how many tabs you can open on start up.

I don't know if it's my computer or chrome, but I had around 80-100 up and it started to crash a little......

I bought a new laptop on Sunday with windows 8, my first foray into win8. I have been using IE10 on it since then but yesterday i tried to get into another forum to type in replies but the reply window wouldn't let me type into it, it was greyed out - very strange. So i downloaded chrome and ahhh... that's much better! Now using chrome and i can reply on that forum. IE10 didn't want to have a bar of it.

cheers
