Anyone put one of their suspensions on of late, thinking about one for the new D.Max. I like their springs but not sure about the shocks.

I fitted Dobinsons shocks/springs to the GU few months ago.
Handled the roads out the back of Menindee and Broken Hill without issue. Been round the High Country a couple of times too.

Even the Renmark rd (Considered a Road???) from Wentworth to Renmark (by far the worst road I've even been on) and wasnt bad at all. The shocks got warm, I didnt notice any change in handling or comfort for the 140 odd klms, but it was 35 degrees and I wanted to get to Renmark by dark...

They are no Koni, but they arent Koni price.

Thanks, the first set of shocks I replaced on the MU where Dobinsons and did not think they were as good as the OME I now have on her.

If my $ could have stretched to Koni 88 or 90's I would have done it regardless.

Have fitted a few sets of the springs. Have been great. Had an issue with the first set, car had a lean. Guys at the work shop spent the whole day changing spring rates etc to get it right. Can't ask for better service than that.

Don't have any experience with the shocks.
