As it says, any queries, ask here.

First subject, Mobile Phones.

Tolmie is a mobile phone black spot.  There is no coverage at the Recreation Reserve (Tolmie Sports Ground).   You can drive 3 or 4km up the hill and get full coverage however.

Second Topic, Firewood.

There will be some fallen timber around the reserve which we can clean up. A limited amount will also be left for us.  I will be bringing some to cover us on Thursday & Friday Night.  We will probably go for some supplies on Friday.  I will have my saw.

Fires are only allowed in fire rings, there are three of these.

Third Topic, Water, showers & toilets.

The toilets and showers are supplied by a bore.  I have drunk it, it tastes ok and havnt got ill. You can boil it to consume if you wish.

The bore will give us all the water we need, the showers are gas instant, so no problems there. There are a limited number of showers, so "shower with a friend" will be allowed 

The only previous water problems have been blocked toilets thru use of too much paper.

Fourth Topic, Furrballs.
Please clean up after your pet.  There is plenty of room for walks and off chain excersise, however, the area is surrounded by private properties. Common sense will prevail.   
I personally beleive in socializing dogs together off chain, under supervision.

My Pin on the Members Map is now smack in the middle of the old Tolmie Football Oval, within the Recreation Reserve.  Access is off what is named "Spring Creek Rd" on the Google Map (which is not the name normally used).

The turn off junction on the Tolmie-Whitfield Road is right next to an Old Yellow Corrugated Iron CRB (Country Roads Board) Shed.  There should be a finger board with "Recreation Reserve" & "CFA" at the intersection.

The Reserve is partially on what was known as the "Police Paddock"

I reckon we should be right.  Im going to check out what timber has fallen down during winter on the reserve, we can cut anything fallen up for firewood.

I think  that we will have enough hands on deck on Friday to get a fair supply in. Ill check it out on the weekend.
