Stop squeeking poles

In this picture which I saw on the web, you can see the poles.

Yep i know what yoy are talking about get a pack of Nylon washers and put them between any of the poles and the mount that have a metal on metal contact. Basically where the 3 uprights connect if there is metal touching metal put a washer between it and then retighten the screw.

If it is the poles themselves touching when you take it apart some platsic sleeving will help queten them down

And yes i am like you a constant noise i can drown out but i am an extremly light sleeper and an intermittent noise will drive me mad

Thanks, I was almost thinking we were the only ones. 
There is no washer between the upright and the poles. Will look into this.
