Arrived home to discover someone has stolen our camper trailer  >:( :-[

If you're in SA please keen an eye out for it.
Reported to  :police: and insurance tomorrow. As aways though, the insurance will not cover everything / mods etc.

The trailer was stolen from the front yard of our home which is on a main road and has a police station on the same road! Brazen thieves! It had a trailer lock on the hitch and the chains were locked to so not able to be used. I can only assume they bought cutting equipment.

Well doesn't that just give you the $hits!  All that time, effort, money ... and some scumbag thinks he can just take it ...   >:(  May Karma reek havoc in the scumbags life.

I hope, for your sake, that who ever knicked it is really stupid, and tries to sell it to a MySwag member.  Wishing you luck with the recovery.

Thanks guys

The bit that hurts is all the stuff that has been put together over time, the travel porta-cot, kitchen etc, camp chairs etc.
Not to mention the time spent working on the mods.

The bit that makes me angry (at myself) is that I've a functioning, GPS tracker purchased for the CT sitting in the study that I hadn't made the effort to install.

There is no way we'll get everything put into it back from insurance, we'd be at least $4-5k out of pocket.

Tis a hard lesson to swallow!

Tom

Bloody Mongrels.
What can one say.
Cheers.

Sorry to hear that mate. It sure is a horrible feeling when some low life helps themselves to your hard earned belongings! As mentioned earlier karma will come and bite them! Its only a matter of time.

We are not in your area but is there anything that can not be seen in your photo that is distinctive to your trailer that members could keep an eye out for if they happen to look at any second hand around there might help them recognise it for you. Good luck

As far as markings, possibly the most noticeable would be in the tailgate. Here there are 5 holes that have been filled with clear silicon where the factory option kitchen would have been installed, however bolts were used to install the Drifta Kitchen (which we only got to use twice). Also the handle that winds the jockey wheel up / down is bent. Other than that she's reasonably vanilla.

Do we have a make model it would make it a lot easier to spot in the for sale? We are a long way away in CQ  but who knows these days where the mongrels will appear.
Will keep an eye out just in case

Sorry to hear this but if you care to publish the VIN and any other specific data maybe the scumbags may try to run it through some of the repair places wanting cosmetic changes to aid in hiding the fact that its STOLEN???

Good Luck
