I am sure there is quite a influx of donations atm from the Myswag addicts that know whats been going on but I hope the little paypal icon up the top keeps them trickling in throughout the year/s.

A big thanks goes to all of you who have given some coin to the New Aussie Server Fund. So far we have raised just over $900 which has been an awesome response in two days. Our Aussie Server will cost around $2500 for 12 months so we are well on our way to covering the costs.

It doesn't matter if you can afford $5 or $250 (both amounts have been sent), it all helps and we won't know what's hit us once we are up and running on the new Server.

Once we reach our target, the PayPal link will be removed.  You will be able to continue to support Myswag.org by purchasing merchandise (the profits of which all go to keeping Myswag.org up and running including purchasing more merchandise). 

The Myswag Spirit really is overwhelming...on behalf of Jill and myself you Guys and Gals are

    Only too happy to contribute to help you run this great forum. Like others, it has become a big part of my life the last three years. I`ve learnt heaps, met some nice Swaggers, feel like I know a lot more of them and followed Swaggers great trip reports to places I`ll never get to go. I would like to donate on a semi regular basis ( when the red wine bottle tells me too  ) and would not like to see the paypal option removed.

It also gives new members a chance to donate.

I haven't comfirmed it with Brett but we did talk about putting a cap on the account, so that once sufficient funds were raised the account would no longer accept donations.

Also, by purchasing merchandise you get a nice bit of gear and the profits go to running the forum.
