I put some Maxxis buckshot mudders (265/75r16) on the GQ wagon just before Christmas 2009, 2 are now at approx 50% the other 2 about 30%. So today at work I thought I would check how many k's they had done. I was pleased to see that so far they have done over 76,000. I think I might get another set, they have worn very even and only rotated once.
if i dont need 4wd, i ain't going!!!

Fun Police

Mine are the stock standard Bridgestone "???" that came with the Triton, so far 45000k's, about 3/4 of the way to the wear bars.

We put Goodyear Wrangler ATSA 265/70/R16 (70%on road 30% off road - but oh my..what off road they have done on the cattle station in the outback) on the GU patrol in September 09. 75000 km and not a puncture!....  I have only just replaced them with Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armour (50%off road/50% on road).  I'm suitably impressed with the way both types perform on and off road.

My Cooper ATR's have 115,000 on them now, funny how one still looks like it could do another 20000 but the other 3 are decidedly un-police worthy.  :police: :police:
I have another set of rims & tyres (2nd hand) sitting in the backyard to go on soon. 693's

The Cooper STs on the Prado have just ticked over 50k, looks about 50-60% left.

Got a set of 265/70x16 Bridgestone D694's These are the normal ones, not the LT version and I think they have a softer compound, developed for the US market for grip on ice, etc.
Anyway we are really impressed with the on-road grip as well as off road, they bag out nice on the sand and about 2/3 - 3/4 worn at 55,000k
We  installed them on Sept 2007 so we don't do big miles and as mentioned prefer to have good grip in all conditions

I'm about to hit the 50,000km mark on my 4 rib ATZ's and they don't look like they have much left in them beofre they need replacing!

What pressures are you running in them?

40psi front and 42psi rear.  The 5-ribs I had on my Navara which pretty much only did black top and sand work.  I've only done 4,500km or so on the 4-ribs on the cruiser, so can't really comment on them.

Are your brakes overheating???

I had a set of 33'' maxxis buckshots on my gq ute. Got over 100,000ks out of them, not bad going
considering it weighs 3.2 tons with just my usual gear on the back. I gave them to a mate and he used them for another six months before changing them.

Current Bridgestone 265/65/17 AT  694's about to tick over 90,000 ks just about stuffed, might squeeze another 2 or 3 thousand out of them

I got 140k out of 4-285/75x16 BFG A/T's. Took them off 'cos they were getting hard and starting to crack.....but they were about 10 years old. All 4 still had 5mm of tread on them. The spare had never been roaded........

I'm using KM2's now. They've done about 13.5k, including 10k towing the camper on the Cape trip. The fronts have lost 1.5mm, and the rears have lost 2mm of the original 15+mm. Pretty good really, but I don't plan to keep them for 10 years......

KM2's here as well, approx 30k on them and about 10mm or so of tread left. Probably 40% gravel/off road use, the rest highway.

I should get 60-70k hopefully......that reminds me, I need to rotate them.
