What Camper to Buy??

Ok so after some suggestions as to what camper trailer to buy, I wanted to spend around the 20K mark for a fully setup camper trailer, I have 3 kids so was hoping for something with a separate kids room for longer stays and a full annex for the kitchen / living, some kind of attachable ensuite would also be very nice but I haven't seen many with this feature.

From your other posts I gather you are in SEQ.  My favs in that area are Vacation Campers and Trackabout.  Both would seem to fit your bill, though it seems Vacation Camper would have more inclusions for the price, along with the kids room (optional).

We looked at both off-road and walk-up but could opt out the off-road to suit us better and allowed a few extra nice things in the budget.

I would probably buy one off one of the MySwag members a bit cheaper, as some good ones are advertised on the site.  You could then use the extra funds to do what you wanted with it.  I know you said "fully set up", but from what I have read in the 6 months or so that I have had the privilege of being a member here, very few people are satisfied with exactly what they bought, and most do some modifications to suit what they want more precisely.

Mark raises a number of great questions without which it would be impossible to give you any real advice.  Of course I could just recommend the manufacturer of my beloved CT ... Modcon.

These guys will build you whatever suits you and of excellent quality...  I didn't say "excellent price" as you get what you pay for but should be able to do what you are after with your budget and these are with out a doubt up there with some of the best Australian built campers...

Mark I am waiting on a new Ranger that should arrive in October so towing should not be a problem, I was wanting to spend around the $20K mark and was hoping that with a trailer we could get away a bit more often than what we do at the moment (Tent Only, Big job to setup and pack up). We are a family of five so I was hoping for a kids room for the kids to sleep in. We like to do most of our camping on the beach so it would need to be an off road camper that won't rust up on me. We also really like the Drifta kitchens.

I did check out some of the suggestions on Saturday and must say that for me the Trackabout camper stood out above the rest, very well made campers, loved the Safari SV Extenda and could justify the price if they through in the extra room and Annex enclosure.
