Hi everyone

A few days ago this poor little dog was found wandering along the Gibb river road. While he didn't have a collar he does look like someone's pet.

He looked to be on good health but was obviously stressed by his ordeal.

If anyone who has been along the Gibb in the last couple of weeks knows anything about a lost dog, this one is at Drysdale Station.

Hopefully he can be reunited with his family.

Cheers

Darcy

I hope he wasn't dumped!!

You'd like to think not.
Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....

Darcy7

Hey Daz. Unfortunately we were a long way away from a vet to have him scanned. Hopefully someone will be able to get him to a vet soon.

At Drysdale ???

Doesn't everyone take their portable scanners with them camping???  I pack mine next to my solar powered MRI machine. (I sometimes leave my mini synchrotron at home though).

I'm not so good with advice... can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?

Oh, Drysdale in the middle of nowhere,  thought Drysdale near Geelong.  Should read the title next time

Just cut it out of him and mail it to the vet.   8)

However. I would be happy to travel out there just to help out... ;D As for the scanner. Yea I always seem to leave that at home. Like the idea of the MRI Machine though, never now when you'll get a Tumor or a hangover. probably feel the same

Please let us know if he is reunited!
Always planning my next adventure.

Unfortunately we probably won't find out unless some one here hears about it on their trip along the Gibb.

But what if you need to accelerate some particles?

Cue : rant about people using generators at night to run their synchrotrons/can you run a synchrotron on solar? /If so, what sized battery bank would you need? / can you power your synchrotron from a wind generator that's attached to the front of your car as you drive down the highway? / if I was in a car travelling at the speed of light, and I turned on my synchrotron... / we'd need to be doing exactly 88 mph...

Hope the little guy gets reunited. Nice work Darcy - well done.
