Hi all,

Been hanging around here for a while reading up on all the threads but never thought to post anything till now.

Been looking for a camper trailer and the right 4WD for just over a year now and finally this week we found both within 4 days of eachother.

We finally just brought a GU Patrol and a 2nd hand (used once) ezytrail offroad camper.

I know you will say  lol will try get some better ones but this is all i have right now still waiting to pick both up this week.

My plans are to fix up the battery system that is installed with an inverter and 240v charging system also some provisons for a bike rack for the kids.
I hope to get away for a few short trips with the kids in the next few weeks weather permitting

Will post some questions and a thread in the my campers section when i get some more pics

Yep almost ready to get going, still need to find some of the smaller items but will get there soon.

Patrol is in getting some gear fitted needed the electric brake controller and got some tinting done by the dealer also getting snorkel to fit up and just picked up a arb winch bar.

Camper will be the easy job i think

I see now that youre just up the road.  A few swaggers around Albury, Madcow, Fivid, etc.

And another Ezytrail owner (with a ball hitch I see from another thread).  Make sure you tick the Ezytrail box on the "what make of CT.." thread.

Well got the camper delivered tonight from the previous owner nice fella drove 120kms all up to drop it off after a hard nights work.

First job on the block tomorrow is to change over the plug on the trailer to a round and to wire up the battery box, then off to pick up the new patrol which had a days set back due to brakes being warped, so pick it up tomorrow afternoon.

Will get some setup pics in the next few days

have been busy working on the camper to get a quick trip in on the next sunny weekend.

Would have liked to go out this weekend but no trailer brakes yet so will have to wait now for a few more weeks.

As for the patrol took it out on the dirt today and got some mud on the wheels felt good to finally get out and drive some

Plenty more to come, thinking of hitting some local tracks tomorrow with some mates.
