Still haven't got my CT!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure what the swearing policy is on here so I'll err on the side of caution, so as not to offend.  When you see ## please imagine your favourite expletive (or a combo) inserted there.

I'd arranged to collect my CT tomorrow.  The guy said "If you can get cash, that'd be cool and save me a couple of bucks."  I went to the govi office and got a permit to pick up an unregistered vehicle, then went to the NAB for a cash advance on my MC.  When they told me it'd cost an extra 2% interest on the amount, I said "Don't worry about it then."

I rang the guy and told him I'd have to pay on the MC after all.  When he told me his eftpos machine had ** itself, and it was cash or a bank cheque only, I said ** and then **!!

It's a 3 1/2 hour drive one way to pick it up and if I hadn't called him it would have been for nothing!

** and **!!

Rant over!  Maybe next Saturday??

Can't they still do manual transactions like they used too. I thought the old swipe machines were still for backup.

yup, when i used to have an electronic terminal for my online business they gave me a manual machine, the only draw back was i had to ring a 1800 number to approve anything over $200 or we ran the risk of having it reversed on us (it happened twice in 3 year)

Thanks lads.  I don't really like the manual ones as there's a nice copy of your MC left behind.  I'll chill out and hope he's got it sorted by next Saturday.

Yep, the wait really is painful.  You look forward to collecting a new toy, to have it sitting there waiting for aonther week.
