We would like to thank all the myswag members on the trip for the unforgettable moral and physical support we received after the incident with the water crossing.
What a bunch! We will never forget and hope to meet in the future to continue the friendships created.

As I write this there are members still going out of their way to bring us our camper back to Brisbane. Thanks to Symon & Brendon and Mick & John.

Never once did we feel abandoned, words can not describe the feeling.

Special thanks to all the guys who gave up there time in trying to repair the vehicle and not giving up till all possibilities where exhausted.
All i can say is nothing was a problem for them.
Thanking all and specially the following for the extreme hard work to help us-

Duggie & jclures
Mick & John
Tim
Symon & Brendan
Chris
Maurice
Bert

And to all in the and group for the support so many thanks and would not hesitate to do it again with the same people.
Special thanks to Mark for all the organisation and for bringing this  wonderful group together.

Paul I hope your guys still managed to enjoy the cape and once a new tow motor is sourced I hope you one day have another go at making it to the tip.

It is heart warming to hear the support offered and given by myswag members to a fellow myswagger. Makes me very proud.  :cup:
Cheers

It was the least we could do for you mate considering the circumstances.  It was a pleasure to meet you and Maria and hope that this little mishap doesn't turn you off the fun of 4WDing and camping.  Really looking forward to heading off on a trip with you again sometime soon.
Do not PM me for technical advice - start a thread.

Paul and Maria,

You guys did a sensational job, both in catching up to the group at canal, and then dealing with your circumstances.

It was a pleasure to meet you, and Amy & I look forward to hearing how you go, and all about your new 'get out and about' car when you get sorted!

Hi Guys, It is nice to know that you have arrived home safe and sound.
We as a group promised that we would get you to the tip, and everything that was done was done because we care.

The pleasure was all ours.

Take care, cheers duggie.

Hi Paul,

If you are the owner of the blue Disco, we saw it safely loaded onto the barge Monday night along with our friend's Disco4 and Conqueror camper.

Glad you could continue on the trip.

Starter motor died. They went in to buy meat at Seisia meatworks, and the car just didn't start again when they came out. We tried everything, but Land Rover wanted it shipped back to Cairns and wouldn't let the guys here touch it.

I think they would've been happier had it died doing Nolans or Gunshot, not in a carpark.

Paul, your Disco was in good company at Cape York Spares, and on the 'cruise' back down to Cairns.
