Hi Guys, 

Been lurking on here for quite a while now doing lots of reading and researching, and after much ado I am please to announce that I have finally put down my money (deposit) on our first camper.  To say we're excited is a massive understatement... Now we juust have to wait!

For those who will ask for the details... it's a brand new Camel Bushman Plus that will hopefully see us many years of service.

Cheers guys, if all goes well hopefully it'll only be 6 weeks or so (based on the build time for dad's which he picked up today). Really looking forward to getting it, but just got to find time to get down and grab it when it's done... Only 2200km each way

Thanks guys, I can't wait to see it in the flesh, we chose the green / sand (tan) colour scheme - hopefully it looks as good as the pictures. We didn't really order many extras on it, as it comes standard with pretty much everything we were looking for including 12v system, battery, lighting and stove.  Bill at Camel has been really good to me and has given me the complete set of walls (screen and canvas), 2nd water tank, innerpring mattress and 16" wheels for a very good price.

Discussing with Dad about meeting halfway for delivery as it was looking at >$1600 to deliver to me... So we'll probably meet him in Longreach (only 1300km each way)

And it's on it's way... Estimated date of delivery is 23rd of this month!! I'm so excited!!  

I'm still trying to work out a way of getting it here... Oh well maybe some of my tax return will be put to good use.
