Suffering depression.!

Not very happy with the Myswag group,,,,

All this talk of a "Cape Trip".....  and now a local has come up with a day trip to Sunny corner.....................!

and i can't do any of them... i work EVERY saturday....so please dont do this to me....
I also go into Hospital on Tuesday for some repairs.....
All i read about is trip's................. i am not a happy camper.....

I can't go on the sunny corner trip either, worse still our club trip out there was cancelled last weekend because it was to wet

And worse, worse still I can't go beacuse the missus is going to a Gaga concert and I have look after the kids.............WTF?

I know how you feel BHG.  As you know I am camper-less and haven't been out too much for nearly a year.

I thought it was your missus who worked Saturdays?

Noo jules,,,  i work every saturday,, have done for years,, so Sundays is my only play day,,,,, if i'm alowed out that is...
My Daughter is the one who also works saturdays,,, has her own Hair salon.... and she is always keen to get out with the old bloke...
My Mrs,, well thats a whole new ball game,,, her idea of camping is .....the best hotel you get afford.....!
and as far as 4wd driving goes,,, the bump at the end of the driveway is enough to scare they Shit out of her,,,

So i go solo most times...but i no complain... can  in peace then..

If fact, if you're out of action for that long you'll have time to coordinate a trip yourself. Sign me up.

2 weeks no driving i have been told,, just booked an excavation job in for 13 days after op....  then,,, i'm driving again.. so see what we can plan after that...

From a nurses point of view that's most prob suffering the same depression - Every day in hospital can be an adventure!! LOL enjoy it there might be a swagger just wanting to swap the stories there with you.

I work the five days plus Sat and Sun and furthermore I don't even have a camper trailer at the moment

Just got out of hospital yesterday arvo from a knee rebuild and am lying in bed reading about all the lucky b@$("&&$ going here there and everywhere and thinking I wish my son was old enough to take the old man out for a drive lol.

Luxury what would you know - I have to get up at 3 int mornin and get down't mine before 4 work 36 hours non-stop all 8 days of the week - no holidays for me ...Live in gutter under matchbox ..

God I love being retired - Just wish I could afford it ....

l am at present in camp , the weather is warm , the fish arnt biting they just jump into the boat . Fire wood is plentiful as the Swedish backpackers are out collecting it , after they cooked lunch . Roast lamb & gravy  6 veg in camp ovens , then Sticky Date Pudding to follow . Grog supplied on demand

[/quote ]That is Gold But yes I have to work Monday to Friday, and if He is working Saturday Morning and the camping trip is in range, I go forward and set up and he catches up.  It runs two cars I know but at least I have a peaceful set up time, and I reckon he gets the good end of the deal.   cheers rellbell
