Hi,

We have been looking at purchasing a Jayco Swan for sometime now, but now have recently come across the Golf Bush Challenger, just wanting some feedback on which one would be the better purchase.

Thanks  :D

Paul (SA)

I saw both together recently. Both look the goods. I loved the open airiness of the Golf.....

If peace of mind in after sales service were a concern, I would go with the Jayco. A huge national network of support and a decent warranty to boot. Not sure which would have better resale, bu Jayco hold their own pretty well there too.

Same layout/floor plan in both, probably better/more options etc from Jayco and as mentioned national warranty and backup from Jayco via ther dealer network and authorised agent

Definitely go Jayco - 3 year roadside assist, 12 month warranty, life time warranty on the winch system, and Australian owned. Also great aftermarket support nation wide. I also looked at Golf... and could not go passed Jayco.

We too had a look at both and for reasons mentioned already went with the Swan

Looked at the golf before we bought our swan OB, the golf looks (IMO) like a poverty pack with substandard fittings.... like comparing a Indian TATA to a Ford Focus.. I know what I would pick, oh I aready did...

Gday Megsy.. Boy what a decision! We looked at them both. We got the Jayco. We had warranty issues, only relatively minor, had no problems at all with Jayco they were great. Even fixed some things i didnt see,,,  Phil

I once owned a Golf, which had faults too numerous to list, then the entire independent suspension assembly tore away from the camper body whilst driving. Definitely go the Jayco.

Please have a hard look as to where your choice of trailer can travel.... with regard to warranties ect.    READ the fine print carefully.......Off road don't always mean ..off road.....Just my POV....

                                                                       Cheers Tracker.
