Probably an "anti-war" protester but I know the ideals of the diggers that the flame reperesents would still be to defend our rights and freedoms. There are some idiots people who will never understand the tyranny we have been protected from.

Outrage does not go close to my reaction. However, I felt a little less outraged when I noticed him place his hand on the rail as he jumped back out - finger and hand prints taken by the authorities I hope.

Thanks to this thread (good or bad), I can't help but wonder how the Australian Aborigines felt when the white fella started climbing Uluru (and other similar acts).

Ran into a fellow who was going to climb Uluru knowing how the locals felt about it. Said he was sympathetic to their request. Didn't really care. Stuff 'em all. Will this act wake him up? We all know the answer to that.

If they are not directly affected or it is not in their thought range, dumb stuff will continue to be done by some.
