WHERE IS THE INFO ON THIS SITE??????

Hi all,
I find this to be a very frustrating site to navigate.
Nothing seems to be where logic tells me it should be.
Also to post photos it would seem I need a uni degree in computers.
I have been looking for the info regarding a proposed trip to Capertee,
The only chat etc currently appears to be the cape trip.
Could the admin for this site add an index for "Upcoming Events" ?
Also there must be a simple way to upload a photo.
Hope someone can help.

Trip reports and plans  If there is nothing on Capertee start a new thread and ask.  Or you could type Capertee into the search box in the top right hand corner.

Adding photos, when you post there is a link just under the text entry bit that allows you to upload images or other files.  More info can be found here http://myswag.org/forum/index.php?topic=16378.0

Gday Stan,

When in doubt, Click on "home" to get back to the main board.

You can then re-enter the various Child boards (Trips, Technical, etc) from there and view all the "threads".

The easy way to upload images is the "Additional Options"  link, just under the text box you type your post replies into.  You can browse them in from your PC, but via this method, they can only be small (less than 500kb).

The best way to do an "everything"  search is to return to the home board.  If you quick search in a Child Board (Electrical, say for example) I think the search is only made in that Board.  So if you search for a destination in electrical, you are unlikely to get a "hit"

Im sure If you sent a Personal Message to any of the moderators (or even me) about any queries you have a reply would be forthcoming.  You send a PM by "clicking" on the Persons Name and then select "send personal message".

Hi Stan. There is a Calendar but it relies on folks to add their events. I'd love to do it but I, like the other mods, work hard and have a family so tackle the priorities on here first.

I am not sure how to respond to your suggestion that the site is difficult to navigate. I guess I've been here a while but I thought the heading were self explanatory.

I am keen to understand your thinking and would appreciate a PM if you're up for it. We're not averse to change.
