gday guys

Not sure if its in the correct section but  just trying to get my head around the settings on MYSWAG ,maybe Ive overlooked the settings ????
But does  anyone else has dramas reading/finding  there post once you have submitted them,in the new or unread post tab,you have to remember where they were in the subject/home page and sift through them to find a post you submitted in.

Also when you have submitted a post you are always taken to that section/topic and find i hard to work out whats a new topic/post or old.

when searching (word/title) you have no options other than word search which why Id say there is so many different threads about the same topic, due to not being able to finds topic easier.
Is there more setting for these or is that how the script is written for this forum base?

cheers

The icons on the LHS indicate which threads have new posts.

If you click on your name and go to your profile you have click 'show posts' which will show your posts

Topics with new posts have a 'new' icon at the end of their topic name

Myabe try 'advanced search' works for me 99% of the time

You can always use the NOTIFY button if it's something you are interested in ... like your own thread ... this way you are sent an email when ever there is activity ... until you remove the NOTIFICATION.

Can you tell I'm lazy?   >:D

Or you could just click the "Show new replies to your posts" link in the top left?

Fairly new here but I assume that works in the same way if you are only looking for new replies to threads you've been in.

There is also a "Show unread posts since last visit" link above it that I assume shows all unread posts since you were last on the site.
