Gday,
Well we drove to Perth this weekend from Karratha to pick up our new camprite (2nd hand) that we bought from Captain's SIL, we absolutely love it, We even used it on the way home, we camped about 150 km south of Carnarvon last night....good news, she's waterproof, big storm hit us and dumped bucket loads of rain, Only downer was the daughter climbed into our bed :(, She doesnt like big noisy wind.

Anyway, we look forward to many more happy family adventures, and after doing the kimberley in a swag last year, the wife is very keen to do it in style this year.

Cheers,

taipan

Very nice looking CT there. Bet you get heaps of use out of it. Nice view from the tourist lookout.

I am currently about 180 kms North of Gascoyne Junction (near Lyndon Station) and we had a fair amount of rain yesterday as well.

They are a great camper, we have had ours for nearly 2 years now and can't really fault it, found it a great family camper with 2 x young kids.
We will be over in the Kimberly's late July - early August, we may cross paths if your up that way around those dates.

Gidday KieranR & well done on your camprite.

I love the photo's. That trailer looks good just hitched behind the tug.  8)

It's great that you wasted absolutely no time in getting stuck-in & using it. Seems all is well in the weather proofing area & that you have yourself one very nice unit there.  :D

Here's hoping you have many, many years of care free camping.

Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.

Thanks Guys,
Yep we love it, there are at least 4 camprites up here in karratha that i know of, and knowone has any complaints about them, 2 of the others are mates of mine.  We're heading up the kimberley whenever work finishes here in Karratha, which should be around end of may or june, then it's Karinjini first then the Kimberley's.

Now to start the modifications on the Camprite.... ;D

I've always thought these are one of the best looking campers when packed. Have fun!
