I thought if that's a spelling mistake that's gonna be a dodgy thread for sure .......
Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....

Saw them a few times at Selina's @ CoogeeBH. Computer Games always got the place jumping. I think I still have Graffiti Crimes on vinyl at home somewhere gathering dust.

We have to start thinking about what sort of a world we are going to leave for Keith Richards after we are all gone.

I wonder how it goes. I used to go up to there place in Birriga Road Bellvue Hill when we lived there. We would sneak into the parties but eventually became accepted and had a great time. Lots of drugs and rock and roll. Let me know how they sounds

We lived on the long sweeping right hand corner before the last one at the bottom that veered left. Plenty of crashes there. I did learn how to slide the Honda civic all the way around though

I started to read this thread topic  heading " Mi Sex" before opening up the page anticipating some hot and raunchy details.

All I can say is " what a bloody low act of deliberate false advertising."

Well well, there were a few of the kiwi band members that would frequent that place, I know because they would catch the bus back to wherever they were going back too, Mark Hunter was a bleary eyed regular on my bus of a morning

Yes it was Mi sex NOT my sex  ;D

Great gig . they openend with ... graphiti crimes and then ... But u dont care .the rest is a blure.

Steve Balbi i think did an excelent job as front man .he came out dressed up like charlie chaplin and was full of charisma and got the crowd into it [ as if they wernt going to be ] .Being a bass player naturaly i was watching the guy on bass all night as well . well he plays at 100 m/hr, was
all over the stage and is quite freakish in his playing and stagecraft .

they also did a cover of ... God save the queen [ sex pistols ] that went down well as well .

they were only on stage for 1 & 1/4 hrs which to me was a bit short BUT .... i wont complain .

it was a great gig ... well worth the effort and the 35 bucks .

they had 2 supports with them as well which were ok ....... just .

here u go

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but here goes.

I was at A Day on the Green at Rochford Winery last night and Mi Sex was one of the bands. They only played 1 1/2 songs because the keyboard player, Murray Burns, collapsed on stage.  At first Steve thought it was a technical error because they keyboard was making really strange noises but he, and all the audience, were shocked when he realised the player had collapsed onto the keyboard and then onto the floor. He was taken away in an ambulance. It was horrible to see. There's been nothing online updating his health today, I hope he recovers quickly, whatever the problem was/is.
