Wow have gone into receivership, from what Ive read all stores are closing and will be having sales of existing stock over the next month.  check them out for bargains if one's near you.

Apparently they had one $20Million bad debt!! that turned everything pear shaped.

Anaconda have the CF40 with insulated cover and 22L ice box for $849.  The CF50 with a similar deal is $999 from memory.

Always had a hassle with WOW when ever something played up from them Camera & video recorder  ... taken back to get repaired  at different times and came back  1. the camera with a scratch inside the lens? and 2. cam corder that kept playing up after 2 repairs.

I fronted the Albury store and when it was my turn at the complaints line up ( after 10 in front of me ) i suggested they return the money or give us brand new items again and the Managers smug remarks were "we will send it back for repairs but we can't change one 4 one" ... they were brand new and never worked properly , after i told him (and the rest of the shop by that time) i'd take him to consumer affairs he just said "Go for your life, it will be a long process and we won't lose"                         PIGS arrrrs... loser

Sam Savis was holding a Shitload of land to develop more big boxes. That land is now worth FA in comparison with what he bought them for. With sales down etc etc He couldn't juggle it anymore. I have never shopped through one of his stores. I just know he is an arrogant bastard. Less competition for Gerry I suppose.

a mate at work went into WOW 2 weeks ago looking to buy a 32" television for his kids bedroom, it was $300 and he said he wanted to only spend about $200, so didn't buy it. this morning he stopped off at the WOW store on Ipswich Rd at Annerley, same tele was $380 today

I have one of those stores near me and to be honest, I have only been inside the building 3 times I think.  Between an overcrowded store stock wise and no staff on hand to discuss things with, I'm surprised they could sell anything.  Cars were parking on the footpaths to get in there today with 30% off. 

I could use some more SD cards and another 1TG storage box.
