Hi all,

Interested in some recommended spots to beach camp near Frasers at Cathedral. Staying there 5nights and want to do a couple of nights nearer to the beach to get some solid fishing in. Can't wait to note your ideas.

Cheers

Took this pic with my mobile phone, sorry about the poor quality...this spot is about a K north of the Cathedrals...didn't have to go far for bait and a fish, just a leasurely stroll out the front of the campsite...top spot :cup:

For a fishing trip we normally camp right inbetween Cathedral and Dundeburra. Close to the Cathedral shop and the Dundeburra showers. There have been a few decent gutters to fish in close to Dundeburra the last few years also. There are quite a few good flat spots and the occasional small tree for a little protection.

If with the missus, we camp at Dundaburra. Toilets + showers = less whinging.

Enjoy your trip

We stay ~200m short of Cathedrals.  Its a nice central spot with only a few mins drive to Eli, Dundurra (Showers) etc.

When we go back we will stay in the same spot if its free.
