Hi Top.Ender
I guess that means I have only 25% membership here, as I have only completed the base of what I am building, and that has taken me 18 months.  Admittedly though that has between paid jobs that I sometimes do at home, instead of at work, then allow the jobs to be transported to the yard for appraisal and transfer.

Personally I don't care if you sleep in a swag, tent, camper or caravan you are welcome here. It's all about getting out there, not in what you do it.

It does beg the question, should MySwag really be called an "Offroad Camper Trailer Forum"? It's full of useful info for every type of camper

Ahhh, that's because it is an "Offroad Camper Trailer Forum".

Just because some of the membership doss in other than an Offroad Camper Trailer does not change that nor really should it.

Then again Brett could modify the context of the forum to be more, or all inclusive by a re-label then that may make those feeling marginalised more comfortable in their membership here. After all it is his Jar of Clay.

What about a 'camper,...van', ...
Its not a camper trailer,  not even a caravan. I don't even have a tow ball, it's not a 4wd, its not off-road.
I am really lost......

Is this the forum for me?
You betcha!!!
Why do people ask "What the hell were you thinking?"
Obviously I was thinking I was going to get away with it and not have to explain it....

I reckon you should leave the forum, 'cause you've plagiarised my name!    :-*

Not really, just yankin yer chain. I dot have a caravan but I've joined a few caravan forums. I think it's all about sharing info, stories, and enjoyment of the lifestyle.

Stay.

Myswag insinuates a "swag"of some description.

I started with a canvas roll, progressed to a cheap tent, an expensive tent, then a decent swag then a canvas tent then a soft floor then a glamper and now am considering an expanda myself.

They are all still my "swags" I go bush in them and that's what counts to me :cup: :cup: :cup:

I have officially left every other forum but this one.
I find the banter became too personal and got nasty.
Most other forums leave this electrical section for dead, even at its worst.

I love that people here get eachother and there various quirks and senses of humour.
I'm even starting to understand how to decipher "speewa" talk.

I have worked it out, I have a dual axle trailer, the wife and I have frequently put the swag in the trailer to camp, (too many snakes around here), therefore it is, quite literally, a camper trailer, just not in the true sense of CT.  Doesn't matter to me though, as I have been through heaps of posts and topics, and have picked up a ridiculous amount of tips from people.
I have no hesitation allowing my grandkids to read the information on this forum, it is without question extremely family orientated as well.

Maîneÿ . . .

I started with a camper trailer in 1996
sold it in 2010 and now tow a boat instead
I've actually slept between the seats in the boat ;D

Still in the process of setting up the electronics required for serious long term camping in a boat, it is different :'(
