I thought that I should pull my finger out and finally introduce myself...  (sorry for being rude).  I've been sniffing around here for some time and have enjoyed many topic and found lots of helpful info.

My story, married with 3 boys ages 7, 5 & 3 and I live at north west Brissy. Pre kids we did a bit of camping and decided a few years ago that we needed to get the kids out of the house and into the great outdoors. So the quest began. Ideally we wanted a Jayco Swan OB however thought it wise to dip the toe in the water first.  So about 2.5 yrs ago we bought a new lifestyle 360 camper trailer.

Since getting the Lifestyle we've had many good trips including Agnes Waters, Borumba Deer Park, Mudjimba, Cotton Tree, Grafton and our kids favorite, our relative's dairy farm at Maroon.

A few months ago we decided to upgrade to a Jayco Swan and ended up picking up a 2007 OB at the end of Nov.  The lifestyle is now up for sale and I need to pull my finger out as its taking up too much space.

The Swan is pretty vanilla. Kakadu bed ends, kitchen awning and main awning with sides. Also included was a Kakadu extra room. I haven't had a chance to set this up yet but plan on taking some pics when I do and selling it as we don't need it.

Our first trip away was last month when we spent a week at Seelands (15 min west of Grafton) on the Clarence River. This is an annual event where we catch up with friends and do some water skiing.  Hopefully we'll get to Tallebudgerra in March and then Maroon for Easter (avoid the crowds  ;D).

Mods to-date (if you can call it that): I bought a hanging shelf from crazy clarks for $6. This provided us with more practical space in the wardrobe.  I thought about putting shelves in but this was a cheaper and easier solution for now.

Planned mods: The Swan pretty much meets our needs at the moment however I want to move the battery from under the front seat (waste of space) and add a bayonet connection for the Weber Q220.  No doubt I'll get motivated for more mods after reading through some posts!

Before I get blasted - I don't have many pics at this point however here's some I took on the iphone when we were away last month (hopefully this works!!)

Thanks for the friendly welcome all.

D4D - the weber is essential kit.  It gets a good work out while we're away.  I just need to come up with a more convenient way to transport it.

Big Jules - thanks for the invite.  Sandy Creek is on the bucket list.  Hopefully we'll get there soon.

Hairs - thanks for the info.  Definately looking for some good day trips around Grafton.  I'll enjoy reading your reports.  The Big River Ski Lodge is on Ski Road at Seelands.  It's a caravan, come camping, come manufatured homes park - with a water skiing focus.  Great place and setup for skiing, however unfortunately all the good river front camp sites are being converted into permanent accomodation and being sold off.
