We are planning a trip around Australia and have come up with a crazy theme and our trip is going to be called our BIG NEWS Trip.  The NEWS stand for the most North, East, West and South points of Australia which we want to see, and we would also like to visit as many of the BIG things in Australia too so if you know of one and can add to the list that would be great.

Ones is SA are:

The Big Rocking Horse - Gumeracha, SA
The Big Lobster - Kingston, SA
The Big Olive - McLaren Vale, SA

Big Banana   Coffs Harbour NSW
Big Prawn     Ballina NSW
Big Pineapple    Nambour (not sure of it's current status) QLD
Big Hangover     Bundaberg Rum Distillery QLD
TUG=GU ST 2012 Ute, CT = Modcon Imperial HF
We have to start thinking about what sort of a world we are going to leave for Keith Richards after we are all gone.

stepheng

that is funy . I wanted to stop at all the big things but got crapped off with it, particualry in QLD as just about every place has a big something. Most of them are just crap and someone puts up a big whatever, just so people will stop. You could start a photo comp of the worse big thing out there I reckon

I found "best pie" (in region, state, australia boast) more interesting, which every town near the NSW/QLD seems to have.

Oh boy I would love to say something about Canberra.  The biggest ******.  But I won't.

AND, I am really, really getting sick of people saying what their big plans are  >:(  Stop it...  You are driving me crazy.   I want to go too.    :'(

Big Potato - Robertson, NSW.

Looks like some mega-animal did a dump by the side of the road....
You can't spell 'funeral' without 'fun', nor 'manslaughter' without 'laughter'

Mace

Big Trout - Adaminiby  - a bit sad when I last saw it.

The Big Ned Kelly  - just up the road at Glenrowan.

And another favourite, the big wine cask between Mildura and Wentworth.

Buggered if I know! We went the back way from Mildura to Wentworth via Dareton.  ITs at the Stanley Winery on the road somewhere there.

My youngest (19, female, uni student) nearly fell out of the back seat when she saw it!
