Close to 400mm in a week, not good with a wet CT.

In the last hour, we've just had 25mm. Whilst I realise that this is nothing compared to the 500mm that Dorrigo has recently had, it sure is enough for here, where everything is flat and the water doesn't go anywhere. It's still raining too.

My rain-o-meter is showing a whopping 6mm.  At least it's soaking in this time rather than giving all my top soil to the neighbours down the hill (which I'm sure they did appreciate).

Nothing here for ages (months) and if it did it would dry up before it hit the ground its that hot...... just got off the phone to a mate in Wanganuii ( lower part of the Nth island NZ ) and he is sitting in front of a bar heater with his tracky dax and a wooly jumper ( not a sheep he assures me ) poor bugger is cold and he said it has been raining for the most of 4 months ... sounds like the UK :cup:

Well, we ended up with 60mm in two hours. It's still raining here now.

If we get up to 6 inches, we'll be looking at flooding here again. Considering the forecast for the next few days, don't be surprised to hear about us getting cut off again. Don't worry, we'll be right! We've done it before!!  ;D

2mm last night and looks like another 2 is falling now.

Man it's been muggy today.  I remember as a kid we got storms every afternoon through summer ... pity that doesn't happen now.

No good rain to speak of in MEL since Christmas day. I wish it would come soon as my garden needs a good soaking.

It would be easier to say how much we haven't had. It was dry yesterday , between the storms anyway.

Got a nice storm last night while camping at Wivenhoe, nice & steamy to pack up this morning though it was dry and all canvas was dry too. Got home & have had another storm go through this arv.

Rumpig

we got 42mm in 15 minutes on Thursday afternoon here at my place, and have had another 51mm in about 20 or 30 minutes this afternoon. looking at the radar we are still a chance of more rain tonight (is actually raining lightly at the moment), though don't think it'll be too much more.
