A STALWART hits the BIG TIME, in 4WD ACTION

I was sitting at lunch today eating a tuna sandwhich when I took a doulble take at an image in the latest issue of 4WD Action issue #173.
The first thing I noticed was the MYSWAG sticker adorning the back window on a white GU.
Next was the absence of a spare tyre swinging off the rear door.
I think this was when I put 2 and 2 together and noticed it was none other than Gunna Do 
All this is on page 158.

Once the sandwhich was done I was flicking through the rest of the mag  and inside the back cover was the Mighty 2.8 again tackling a rocky track, this was a feature pic for what looks like the next issue!

Parry, about three months ago I went out and got some tips from the 4WD Action Master Class, driving some of the tracks in the Watagans, on Blacksmith's Beach, and around the Lake Lyell Rydal/Lithgow area.

Paul I think Snow is suggesting that the Moderators are going to put on a carton of XXXX gold for the advertising the forum will get with that 6" x 4" sticker on the side of my Patrol.  It's a brilliant offer Snow, and one which I will gratefully accept.

That is so nice of them to do that. Seeing they donate their time and all to the forum without recieving any sort of retribution for their hard work. It is nice of them to pay out of their OWN pocket. What would you get for an article in say the Daily Telegraph (or similar) for such advertising?

Don't know how to tell you this Speewa but the logic is' if you get mentioned then you have to put up the carton'.  As Snow will attest, 'that the way it happens in the RAAF (military).  Looking forward to a few sleepless nights due to your over supply of alcohol in the near future!!!!
