I look like being a contender also

Will be traveling from the far South West tip of Australia, up to the far North East tip of Australia 

( who else wants to join in with me for the journey through the red centre )

The hardest thing organizing trips like this is making it enjoyable for everyone. That's why I look for expressions of interest and then cap it so that I can get exact numbers. I have members waiting for others to drop out so they can go and unless people have put their name down I do not know who is attending.

Once i have exact numbers I plan each day so that we can all travel together and camp together. This also helps with members who are not sure of their ability in tackling tough tracks as we have experts to assist.

I then plan accommodation so that again we can all get in together...example the huts at Seisa as there are only so many and I can arrange hut numbers for the members going.

I could make it a Tagalog and People plan their accomodation but then people are unsure of which accommodation. It is easy to have one person planning than 20. Members at any time can do their own thing but most like the company of this great forum.

Plan B is breaking into 2 groups.

I will do the right thing and let Mark know by mid febuary so others can jump in , and i think you will find others will drop out that is what happens with these things as long as we all keep in touch i am sure we can work something out we have 4 to 5 weeks to waste
