ARB Bull Bar and other accesories.... Help!!

Lost has a very valid point - what constitutes necessary equipment - is there a thread already set up for this?
Sorry for the Hijack Mark but I think you are on the right track anyway - as long as you walk out with what you want at a reasonable price then be happy in that - there will always be someone cheaper - it's a fact of life but in the end what would you rather be doing with your time? - trying to search countless stores to save a few bucks or have the weekend free to get out there and use the mods you have already fitted at a reasonable price.

mate i live in the country and by my arb gear from one place always get discount or fitting for nix,maybe go to a country store them city slickers can be a might unfriendly some times while we are on the subject can anyone tell me if they have had trouble with an arb roof rack,like ruuuuust sorry to hijack but while its on the menu

Thought about going to country stores but I must confess getting the vehicle there and me back is difficult.

The more I look into it the more I realize that if I'm gonna part with my hard earned, I want fair dinkum service from someone who will go over and above the call of duty.

We had an ARB bullbar put on our 150 prado by opposite lock, they sourced the part and fitted it cheaper than what the ARB quote was.

Hi mate, haven't actually bought yet, but TJM (coopers plains) could get me the sahara bar (with other stuff also) cheaper than ARB.. also try westside 4x4 at Sumner, they are ok with prices.

Just remember the standard ARB discount on single items for club members in 10%....

Another question....

Do ARB offer a warranty on works done?

In other words suppose one goes through ARB to do mods to their vehicle and have a problem down the track can you pull into any ARB around the country and have it taken care of (obvisously within a time period)? As opposed to maybe getting a slightly cheaper price at an independant but then not having teh after sales service

That's the theory, but the guys at ARB in Alice Springs weren't helpful when I had a problem with the bash plate on my bar.

Hmmmm...... having after sales/on road serviec would be one thing that would lean me that way but no i just don't know.... Grrrrrr!!!!

When I had the suspension fitted I got a warranty card and also a ARB dealer list in case of problems, part of the reason I fitted it

I actually went next door to Repco and bought a packet of bolts with the flange built in that fixed it. I got sick of those stupid captive nuts failing and yes I did speak to the QC man about it.
