Hi,
Note 87Bravo has a new king size matress for sale/swap in trader section.

Does anyone have/know:

1) how much room would be around the edges if a king matress is in a tambo cooper.
2) does/will it still pack up alright, don't want the tent to hang out over the edges.

thanks Daryl.

We had a queen innerspring pillowtop in our Tambo and the length was ok but you wouldn't want it any wider. It was almost 20cm high and packed up ok but we had the high travel cover.
I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go...

Hi D4D

We're currently looking at upgrading the mattress in our tambo cooper. Went to beds direct today and they have 16cm and 20 cm height options. The 20 cm is very comfortable but both are better than the current mattress.

Question, we also have extended cover but just how much room is left under the cover with the 20 cm mattress?  We pack a table and other stuff under the cover when travelling so don't want it too tight.

Cheers

Heaps of room, we had the extended cover also and easily packed a table, chairs and matting under the cover.

Great.  Looks like we'll go with the 20 cm.

A bloke offered me some of them pills when recently in Bali.  I got a bit offended that he thought I needed them. Either way  it's the kids i tell ya. Perfect contraceptives when sleeping 5 feet away. Or can you get pills for them too?

Untill they graduate to swags least we'll sleep better on a new mattress.
