Just curious with most people modifying their camper does any modification affect the warranty. The only one I could think of is making the camper too heavy for the axle.

JT will be able to answer this as well as any other camper manufacturer.

If the modification could be proven to have caused the failure of an original component then the warranty would be void on that component.
I think under new laws that the manufacture must prove that the modification caused the issue.

If the mods happen within the warranty period...then that gives the manufacturer a case to null the warranty, the real problem would be with your insurer if they were not notified of the mods.

They certain can void the warranty.

If you add a battery and the suspension fails, it would be hard for the manufacturer to agrue that one ~20kg battery caused such a failure. But, if you wire in an additional battery to the factory setup and the thing frizzles, the warranty would be voided for sure.

Warranty is both explicit and implied. All new products are required to be warranted for the purpose(s) for which is it sold.
