Just spent a week in Hawaii and was amazed at some of the rigs getting around, obviously the regulations are a little easier to get around then here in Oz.

This was an F350 in a beachside carpark

And it properly cost less there then what we pay for a Navara here.

Any pics of Jeeps?
Didnt see too many modified oned in my travels Rich, they sertainly like to do the pick up trucks though. Some of the wheel and axle widths were crazy. The tyres were hanging a good 300mm past the guards on some trucks

I went a couple of years ago, the trend was to jack up the truck and put on small tyres

We were there in May ourselves and some of the cars were mad. Unfortunately didnt have the camera with the real big ones.

Google the Ford 650  , then tell me of the Yank Factor . I have lusted after a 650 6 door with 6 fuel tanks that sits 6 people as I dont like big crowds . It looks as though it would climb a gum tree chasing a Goanna in 2nd gear ,,, but !

Here is a F650 we saw in Cairns, only a couple in Aus and you need a truck licence to drive it

Take 2 for Mr Speewa, they sure build them big over in the USA

I love the lowriders and the bounce comps, with it would take off here.

Whilst I reckon the 650's look tough they really would be of little use over here. Would be too big for most of the 4WD tracks / trips and why would you want to throw that much money at service stations when driving on the highway?

That's rediculous..... check out that wheel base, you wouldn't want to go over an overly high speed hump or you would get hung up!  ;D
