Couple I can think of...  Mitsubishi Starion  and   Ford Performance anything.  The words Ford and Performance are really just contradictory terms and don't belong together.

Sorry just being pedantic, No translation for Pajero from Spanish to English, BUT

pajeros is Spanish for tosser/wanker :police:

Baz.

Had is conversation witha Spanish speaking workmate a while back,  (prior to me buying one, :D)

Pronouced   PAHERO does in fact mean tosser/wanker    Pronouced   PAJERO  is actually a bird.

also found this doing a Google search

Just look up skoda they have some ripper names like SUPERB, well is it really that good. Maybe if the car makers where just honest with there models like Holden Camira should have been called Holden Heap Of S##t or Ford Coursair should have been Ford Failure then we would know before people buy them, just an idea lol

bullfrog

Oooh, Holden Camira. That is scraping the bottom of the $hit bucket. They were close to honest with the model, JD = Just Don't

GM's 'NOVA' which means 'Doesn't Go' in Spanish!  Re-badged the car as Corsa in Europe as a result, but kept Nova in the UK.  (Eventually re-badged to Corsa in the UK when the model was face lifted.) ;D
2011 Jayco Swan; (about to be upgraded to 2015 Jayco Basestation); 2013 Nissan Navara 2.5 ST Auto

Okay what about the toyota Rukus, ugly name and even fuglier car.   ;D

Wow...this has taken off...! It's amazing how many awful names for cars are out there.  Really makes you wonder what the marketing bovine at the manufactures were thinking.

Apparently the pager is known as the Shogun in many other countries because of the translation.

I'd completely forgot about the Ford Probe.  Popular with proctologists...!
