Yep, that's WyYung oval. Water seems to have peaked, not too high by our standards. Went to Lakes this morning - no real issues there. Won't be getting out the end of our street for a good few days though.

Cheers,

Cam

Man dies in Gippsland floodwaters

Updated August 13, 2011 17:17:52

The body of a man has been found in the flood affected town of Sale in Victoria's south-east.

The man's body was retrieved from a four-wheel drive submerged in floodwater on Spencer Road, at about 4:00pm AEST.

Police have been searching for a missing farmer in the same area, but the body has not been identified.

The coroner will investigate.

It is believed the 60-year-old missing farmer went to move cattle away from flood waters on his property at Desailly Flats, on the Thomson River, on Friday afternoon.

The man did not return home and police have been combing the area

I was down there with SES for flood watch and monitoring when the Sale members left to go help with the search for that person.

Went to Lakes and Barinsdale as well during the day. Water was just reaching high tide when we left Lakes after sandbagging strategic locations.. Was an 18 hour day when we got home.
