What do you guys think of these

http://www.sydneytools.com.au/shopexd.asp?id=14863&bc=no

They are on sale for $400 in Tassie Mitre 10

Anyone comment on these? I had a look in store and the quality was A1, nicely finished, good gear i think

Looks good Wogs, I think its the same noise level as my Engel 1000 which cost me about $700 new.  The noise is a little louder than the Honda, but not much.

They look good. I had a look at them at my local Mitre10 a couple if weeks back.
Quality looks pretty good.
Price looks even better.
How much are the 2kva models on special?

Not sure on the 2kVa as only 1kVa in stock. I think this would be a better option then the solar panels at that price. i think i get one

I have a friend who has one of the 2kVA Stanleys.  We took the side off it and it looks exactly the same as my 2kV Kipor generator.  Even the control board looks the same.

Was that the old or the new Stanley, as the old ones were very similar to the Kipors but the new ones looks all different
