Why Do My Posts Show Up Disjointed Sometimes?

I`m not the best typist in the world and it was pointed out to me a couple of months ago that my posts show up disjointed on other computers even though they show up correctly on mine.As I have written a lot of posts I was very embarrassed to think most of it was mumbo jumbo when I was shown my posts on my profile and I have endeavoured to correct it. However I`m still doing something wrong from time to time as when I check my posts in my profile they are occaisonally incorrect as is the one I just posted in Trips etc.tonight. I`ve noticed it happens to other Swaggers sometimes but not very often.

Are you holding your tongue to the left hand side, tip out, and have a beer or other assorted beverage in the hand you are NOT typing with?  Might make a difference ...

The problem is that sometimes apparently only 3 or 4 words of a sentence appear on one line and the remainder on the line below even though it`s correct on my screen

I checked over my posts again in my profile and it`s a while since I`ve made errors as bad as previous ones so I must have improved. I`ll blame it on my advanced age and being a blonde!

If I was a betting man I'd say your problem is twofold.

At times you end a sentence with a "."and start the next sentence with no space between the "." and the next word.  The computer will see this as one word with a "." in the middle, not as two words, and this will affect the pagination.

More importantly, I'd guess that when typing and you get to the right edge of your screen, you may be pressing the "return" key to start a new line, as one would on a typewriter with that old fashioned stuff we used to use, called paper.  If I'm correct, this puts a hidden symbol in what you type, and tells the computer to start a new line at that point.

If you just type your sentences and have the correct spacing between words, and allow the computer to sort out when it wants to start a new line, then it should display correctly on all screens, as the multitude of computers out there, automatically paginate for the display, or window width at the time.  Obviously you'll still need the return key to start a new paragraph.

Here endeth the class of sucking eggs 101.

G'day bigjules,my name is Jason and is very new to this forum.i just bought a Landcruiser 100 series, 2001 model. I have plans of doing things to it, henced,i searched on the net and came across your forum discussion (January 11, 2011, 03:46:00 PM) regarding Workshop Manual for this model.
