We anticipate going down on Saturday, probably in the arvo as he probably has to work in the am.  It would be great to meet up with the group.  What time does the show finish?  Cheers Rellbell

Crazy Dog

Dunno Rellbel  ???

- anyway when JT finishes I thought we might go for a pub feed somewhere then get into it...Any suggestions - I am open to all sorts but no one seems to want to commit at this time. Maybe the Balaclava for a counter tea followed by copius amounts of amber...??? >:D

Just remember that JT is very very fussy..There MUST be alcohol where ever we go ok.. ;D

What time do u think you can get away John ? (JT)

Bill

It's not that we dont want to commit.
It is more like we are flexible with our time so we can do whatever.
We would rather someone else (whose time isnt as flexible) make the deicsion.
We will be there no matter when or where...

What they said x 2 -  Balaclava sounds great. I was wondering how their steaks were.

Crazy Dog

Turned once only I believe. ;D

I have partaken and supped there a couple of times and found the fair to be bloody good..

Looks like we may end there if anyone else chooses to tag along.'

Thanks for call Crazy.  Been away camping for the last few days, so missed all the chatter here.
Definitely into catching up with JT and everyone else.  Balaclava sounds good to us.  Have eaten there in recent times and found it good.   See you all there.

Sharyn  :D

There had to be someone out there camping hey.  what with the beautiful weather we have been having lately, where did you go??  Has Jcclures seen this thread yet?

tropicbird54

Evening Rellbell.  Went out to Emu Creek for 3 nights.  Very cold nights, but the days were heavenly.  The creek is still flowing - crystal clear water - and after an hour or 2 of hiking, we even braved the cold water for a swim!  Being just an ordinary weekend, there was only one other family in the area, so it was very peaceful.

Hey guys and girls,

Have been speaking to the big man today, he tells me that 7pm Saturday night would suit him perfectly. So 7pm at the Balaclava sounds like the plan! Hopefully we'll see you all there, or at least at the show tomorrow!

Thanks!
Matto :)

Hi all, it was fantastic to meet you all, we Tony Norelle & Emma had a great time, lovely food and fantastic company. Hows that JT hey.  He's the man, staying to the end partying to make sure everybody was looked after.  Cheers Norelle

Paul and Bern

;D Hi all, went with a mate to check out the massive array of boats (not) on show at the home, camping and the one boat show  :-[ >:(
However  ;D ;D met JT at the Trackabout stand which made the show sorta worthwhile for me.  Great to meet the legend.
 Paul
Can every day be made a public holiday?

tropicbird54

Ditto Norelle.   We very much enjoyed meeting you, Tony & Emma and other local Myswag members too.  Was great that John had the time to come along to dinner with us all as well.  Was a great night all round.

Bill

We thought it was nice to meet and chat with everyone as well.

Finally back in the land of the living..WHAT A BIG DRIVE !!! was great catching up with old mates and meeting new friends. The show went great guns and I'll definitely be back next year and might even try and take a few extra days to enjoy what Cairns has to offer.
Thanks to all who turned up to say G'Day, it was great meeting and putting a face to the names on here.

Cya's all next year ;D

Cheers
JT

Matto

Ditto what everyone's already said - it was a great night with good food and better company. I didn't get a chance to speak to everyone unfortunately, so I'll have to catch up with those I missed next time!

Big thanks to Crazy Dog for organising it all - much appreciated.

And thanks to JT for letting us drag him out for another late night following a couple of very busy days!

Hope to catch up with you all again soon!
Matto & Jess :)
