With its relatively rough-around-the-edges look, the Mansion does not look like a motorhome that cost more than $1m to build. Yes, that's a one with six zeroes.

I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go...

Nope,,i,m guessing, no matter how much money you have, the rule still applies,, the more you spend on your rig, the less you have to spend on the cost of travel.

If there were still a few millions left in the bank I may, because with that much money I wouldn't care...

Wow what a bit of gear not for me but with that sort of money I could have got a 908 Kenworth and a 40ft trailer decked out on the back

probably not, a Cruiser and a Kimberly Karavan with some change would be my pick instead

Nope - not for me.

To slow, too big and bulky, and too much hassle.

I'd use the million to fund a life long trip using what I already have.

LC

not for me either, I would rather have a 70ft catamaran and an advert at the local marina for broadminded female crew >:D

I am sitting in a course at the moment and clicked on the link. I think the volume on my laptop is a bit loud. Nice background soundtrack.

barneys

not the first one it would be like staying in a roof top tent forget the milk  and when you go and get some someonr will be in your camp befoe you get back .
the second one you would not get a minute of peace and quiet . with all that bling everyone will want to look at it
but how good would that be

The unicat is a pretty impressive looking bit of gear, but it amazes me that you can spend all that money on something like that and you still get winches that have wire instead of dynamica rope!

The Unicat would be fine for the support crew or the advance party . We of course would be arriving in the off road accommodation . The advance party would go to where I poinyed on ther map check out the site & make it ready .
Upon arrival the fire would be going with a pile on wood a rde roo couldnt jump over &2 chairs set up .. The 25m heated lap pool wuold all already  for a dip as would the spa at 38deg C .The hand picked Brunet towel holders would be in their swim suits waiting .
The camp ovens would be simmering away with dinner , Chef would be looking after that , while the drink waiter in running shoes earned his keep .
After dinner we would try to decide weather to go dancing in the inflatable ballroom or just watch a 3D movie on the big screen .
In the morning as we left in the 6wd Pajero to explore the camp would be relocated to where ever we wanted , & the last site returned to bush  Ohhh its morning already what a dream  ;D

Some interesting vehicles here

http://www.allterrainwarriors.com.au/

I'm sure that they could build me what I want  ;D

Matto

I like the All Terrain vehicles - the smaller Izuzu-based trucks would be quite handy I think. Sure, you couldn't take one up some rocky/rutted hillclimb, but for what they would do, I'd happily live in one.

You could always make one yourself: http://www.robgray.com/graynomad/wothahellizat/index.php

Or go for the Big Daddy, everyone's favourite Desert Challenger : http://www.examiner.com/rving-in-national/action-mobil-desert-challenger-the-world-s-best-off-road-rv

Thanks!
