I was recently on a motorcycle forum , and i was given a link for cheap tyres
after checking for my bike model and suitable tyres the end result was nearly a $200 save    :cup:

although you still need to get the tyres fitted by your local bike shop
still $200 is a reasonable save in any language www.rockymountainatvmc.com

its also good if you can get a mate to share the freight

cheers mick

I bought a Helmet through a mate who owns a bike shop, it was $699 retail and cost me $500 I was happy with that. That US site has it for $375!  :-[

A lot of people do use the Rocky Mountain site but be careful when buying helmets as they dont have the OZ approved standards sticker

Correct.
Even though the US Snell standard is probably more stringent than Aust Standards, if it doesnt say AS approved you take your chances.

Hi Bruce, I did import four tyres (two front two rear) recently, but I went through www.jakewilson.com

Lots of people I know have used them with great success, one even got a tyrechanging unit ($88 or so) to change his tyres at home.

I paid $585 delivered for my four - Michelin Pilot Power/Pilot Road2 combo. Considering that one set usually costs over $500 locally it's not a bad deal... the amazing thing however is that the tyres were on my doorstep five days after I ordered them! And that has been the experience of others who have used Jake Wilson as well. Incredible.

Surely a cop would have better things to do than that??

If you are offroad racing the Snell approval for over seas purchased helmets is allowed. As long as the helemt is in good condition and Snell stickers etc are visable.
If however you are road riding then these helemts are not covered for road use.

Also check the date stamp inside the helmets. I used to turn away so many people with out of date helmets at scrutineering and the arguements were priceless.. Race secretary has last laugh :) :) :)
