Mainly the lack of camper and Andrea being pregnant, we did swag camp at easter, but I doubt she would be too keen to do it any time soon again in her current condition ::)

Wife had work commitments that decided to change the Month the school kids go away, too hard to run a trip from an isolated position. There is always 2012

Would love to do a trip to the gulf !

The trouble is money ,kids ,time , maybe next year plus the outback would have to stick to the development rd but that would"nt worry me its still up there. :-[

I had my name down for this trip, but neither my wife nor I could get time off work (we both work in payroll-related areas and June-July is not a good time for hols). Retirement beckons so maybe then we can go, or pick a time away from the July school hols.

We too had out name down for this trip, and it was with much regret that we had to pull out too  :'(   With hubby starting a new job, taking time off was not possible. We will be reading the trip reports with envy but hope all that go have a fantastic time!

We pulled out of the trip, but are going to do it in august, just have to wait another month.

We would love to have gone - but being in Adelaide makes this a long long trip - for which it is very difficult for us to get time off for, plus the expense of it.

I have been buying lotto tickets to try and change the situation, but a $21 win is the best I've had, and that just doesn't do it for us unfortunately.  :'(

Both coity and myself didn't make the cut so we have decided to go anyway we will let you know what the conditions are like when we pass you's on our way back we leave in 12days from Port Augusta for a 7 week trip to the tip.
if any one notices 2 x 80series cruisers with SCRUB CLUB across the windows  up the tip come and say hi we will be the only ones.

I guess were just not cool enough to make the cut hey

dooguss

If our original plan came to fruition, we would most probably have left last saturday, but the sale and purchase and move early this year took a chunk of his holidays and his new Hoist is pending soon, so there will always be next year too.  Its funny we live so close, yet so far. Cheers Rellbell
