I recently purchased 2 of these from the US for $489.00, ie. $245 each including postage.
I purchased them from Ebay seller Sportbikeneeds.

Why don't those of you who want one get together and try a bulk deal, I am sure he will negotiate.
Just make sure you get them shipped in lots of less than $1,000.00 to avoid the GST

We have one of these, and like you Silvo we paid a bit more than that price as well

They are great little cameras, have tested it on the bike and the Disco, one little problem I had last weekend was I accidently set it to still photo and got over 5000 photos instead of 4hrs of video

You view anything unless it's conected to a laptop, so you can't test it before you set it, not a big deal, just got to be careful before you turn it on and make sure it's set to video.
