I noticed that some intended to go camping in this area, NPWS have closed Deua NP until further notice.

This is just some of the damage caused by the rain over the last few months.

As well as other parks in the area, it would be advisable to ring NPs for info.

Wow, that's some damage. How many other parks are going to have similar damage.

Thanks for the heads up Baz.

Regional Manager (South Coast) NPWS report on access to Bendethra. seems that the major repair left is damage to the banks of the 2nd river crossing.
The work left to be done can only be done by heavy machinery, all the other work that Volunteers could have helped with has been done and thanks go to those who offered to help.
NPWS are doing their best to have the river crossing repaired for Easter.

This is an update on Duea.
