Heading home today i was talking to SILVO on the hands free when i started up the hill to the Blue Mountains and without warning the engine just went PPUUUFFFTTTT and started blowing smoke out the back end. Won't know exactly whats wrong till tomorrow but quick as a flash (10 minutes later) Silvo was there at the side of the road to lend a hand.

That's the MYSWAGGER spirit. Big thanks to Silvo who was there until it was towed into my driveway.

Great story always good to help, even better when the help is appreciated, hears a quick story about what happend to me a few weeks back

I saw an old lady and her mother (about 80 years of age) with a blown tire on the side of the road a few weeks back on one of those stinking hot days on the Northern Beaches. Running early for my next appointment I decided to stop and change it for her. I walk up to the daughter (about 50 - 60 years of age) who was on the phone to NRMA and i said quietly to her " would you like me to change the tire for you". Out of the corner of my eye I saw the mothers eyes light up with joy but the daughter ignored me and just kept talking. So I waited a few minutes and asked again this time a little louder but still very polite... To my shock she took the phone away from her ear and said in a very cranky/rude voice " can't you see I'm on the phone!!!". So with that I walked back to the van and continued on my way.

I was in total shock that someone could be so rude... Some people just don't know whats good for them

I would of loved to know how long NRMA took to get there that day.
Cheers, Ryano

Bad news. A $1 piston ring and its all over. Had the top end rebuilt before Xmas so that put too much strain on the rest so here it is. I'll get the bottom end rebuilt (most likely) and fast track my 6.6 Duramax project. If this happened in 3 or 4 months time i wouldn't care less, but with 7 or 8 weeks left before my big trip, looks like i'll have to burn the plastic to make it.

Think i'll be having a few too many SPIRITS tonight.
